There is perhaps no other noble profession quite like that of teaching. It is justifiably called so. After all, much of our future depends on how we educate our youth today.

Dehradun has enjoyed an enviable reputation for a quality schooling & centre for higher education. However, only recently quality of higher education has seen a quantitative growth, though much remains to be done to impart better quality which would ensure a better reputation for all of us who are already into various fields of higher education as well as those of us who are venturing anew.

The Kukreja Institute of Teachers’ Education has been established with such a vision. Good quality infrastructure, we understand, must be adequately supported by qualified and competent faculty, dedicated and loyal to our common cause of building better and enlightened society. Teacher Education Programme (B. Ed.) is our first ethical venture.
